There are over 1,250 species of sea cucumbers, and they are found in all the world’s oceans.

Sea cucumbers are omnivores, which means they eat both plants and animals.

They use their tentacles to gather food particles and ingest them through their mouths.

But that’s not all – some sea cucumbers also actively hunt for food,  using their tube feet to crawl along the ocean floor and find prey.

With their flexible abilities to accommodate various diets and hunting  techniques, it’s no wonder sea cucumbers are one of the most intriguing  creatures of the sea.

While it may not be the most glamorous creature in the ocean, the sea cucumber is undoubtedly one of the most interesting.

Not only do they have the ability to expel their internal organs as a defense mechanism (which they can then regenerate)
