The kitty, pleading for help with wide, hopeful eyes got Jay’s full attention. Without hesitation, he scooped up the kitten and took it home. Big Mac With A Big Heart
Jay and his wife decided to name the kitten “Mac” or “Big Mac,” a playful nod to their fateful meeting spot. Very fitting. Once they arrived home, Jay set to work cleaning Mac up. The kitten, covered in dirt and hungry, accepted the warm bath and food Jay supplied. After making sure Mac was comfortable, after a long 2 hour nap, Jay took him to the veterinarian to check for a microchip. They wanted to check and find out if Mac already had an owner. To his relief, Mac did not have a microchip.
With no one to claim the ginger kitten, Jay welcomed Mac into his home permanently. What began as a chance encounter in a fast-food parking lot quickly grew into a long-lasting relationship! Mac, once a stray, fillled Jay’s home with playful energy and affection.
The once solitary days were now punctuated with playful pounces and soft purrs of a grateful kitten. Adding to Jay’s home which already had two dogs.
Bottom Line
Overall, Mac’s journey from a McDonald’s parking lot to a loving home really speaks loudly of the compassion and unexpected ways life can bring happiness. For Jay, adopting Mac was more than just rescuing a kitten… It was discovering a friend and a new source of happiness.
